The Intelligence Fundamentals Professional Certification (IFPC) credential is conferred for a three (3) year period; certificants will receive an email notice three (3) months prior to the expiration date of their certification reminding them that recertification is soon required. The certificant can renew their IFPC credential using one of the following options:
In order to re-certify by obtaining another USD(I&S)-recognized intelligence tradecraft certification, IFPC certificants are responsible for updating and maintaining their candidate profile in the candidate management system, Learning Builder. To do so, please follow the steps outlined below.

Reinstatement of Expired Credentials
Individuals who fail to meet the certification maintenance requirements every three (3) years will receive a notice from the IFPC PMO that the credential has expired. Individuals who allow their IFPC credential to expire must apply as new candidates and meet all of the requirements in place at the time of application, including taking the exam.
